Meetings and Gatherings
We have regularly scheduled club meetings on the third Monday of each month (except December) with presentations relating to the care and feeding of your car, as well as other auto related topics. The meetings are from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. Come early for dinner and/or a good parking spot. The meetings are held at MACK'S GOLDEN PHEASANT, located just West of Route 83 on Route 64 (North Avenue) in Elmhurst. Enter front door, turn left, go downstairs.
October is club Anniversary month, expecting cake and champagne at the membership meeting. In December we have a Holiday Party in lieu of the membership meeting. Officer nominations come in October and November, balloting by mail in December, and new officers installed at the January meeting. Our club's official Annual Business Meeting and awards presentation is held at the February meeting. You see we keep busy all year round.
There is also a regularly scheduled Natter 'n' Noggin (a British tradition of "talking and drinking") on the second Tuesday of each month. These are held at alternating locations (see below). The talking, eating and drinking starts about 7:00 p.m. Come and stay as long as you can.

Finn McCool's Irish Sports Pub is located right at Rt. 53 in Rolling Meadows / Schaumburg. The restaurant has hosted several other car clubs and Mike the manager knows MG's. He owned a Midget and his father had a T Series and a B. The reservation is under the club name, and they know that we're not all arriving at the same time and need separate checks.

Take the 63rd Street exit on I-355 and turn east. Follow 63rd for about 3/4 of a mile. Roundhead’s is on the SW corner of 63rd and Woodward.

We have tried out the Roundhead’s in Downers Grove. The first search night was November 13, 2007, when about 25 members came to Roundhead's in Downers Grove. The second search night here was June 10, 2008 We had about 20 people on the patio for a wonderful summer evening with a few MGs parked nearby. We had a few new members who were first timers at N'n'N.
More parking that you can think of, about 3/4 of a mile from the 63rd Street exit on I-355, they promised us a semi private table/area, very reasonable prices and food, and a medium noise level. When we were there on a Thursday night the place was kind of busy, but there still was enough room for our group. We sat in the area that would be ours and it just so happened to be right next to the kitchen door. And boy, you won’t believe the pizza’s that came out of there. They smelled fantastic, and they came in all sizes. The biggest must have been at least 2 feet in diameter!
