The Steering Column

I hope all of you had a wonderful Holiday season. As I look back over the last year as your president. I have to say that for me it has been a great year. I think that we have had a very active year with many varied events and activities. The one thing that I must confess too is that without all of you pitching in and helping along the way, the year would not have been so successful.

Next month is the Annual Meeting where we will present the awards to only a few of the active members. These awards are hard earned and every recipient should be proud of their effort. Unfortunately not everyone who deserves an award of some kind can get one. Many unsung workers are among the membership. I am asking all of you to thank the individual or individuals that are sponsoring the activity that you are participating in. If it was not for them you might just be sitting at home with a very enjoyable car sitting in the garage and not enjoying the fun and friendship that our club members have to share with one another. Please plan on attending our Annual award dinner next month and help celebrate the ending of one year and the start of a new one.
