The club is reinstating the “MG Bucks” program for 2007. “MG Bucks” will be awarded to club members for participating in club sponsored events, such as, but not limited to, rallyes and tours. In some cases, “MG Bucks” will also be awarded for participating in certain events sponsored by other organizations, such as the British Car Festival. Each club member’s “MG Bucks” count will be accumulated throughout the year and a certificate will be presented to each qualifying member at year-end. At that time, the “MG Bucks” can be used to purchase club regalia and future club dues. Look for the pink “MG Bucks” sign up sheet at any club sponsored event that you attend: you must sign it yourself to earn credit for your “MG Bucks”. Only dues paying club members will qualify for “MG Bucks”. Events qualifying for “MG Bucks” will be identified in the newsletter, on the web site, and at club meetings. This month, in February, club members can earn “MG Bucks” for helping conduct the 11th Annual All British Car Swap Meet & Autojumble. Qualifying activities are: Saturday night setup, Sunday morning vendor check in, Sunday shopper admission throughout the day, and Sunday afternoon cleanup.
