Report on the Tenth Annual All British Swap Meet and Auto Jumble
Sunday, February 26, 2006

Sunday February 26 marked the 10th anniversary of the All British Car Swap Meet & Autojumble started by the club that many years ago. During that time, the meet has grown from an initial level of about 30 vendor spots in part of one building to approximately 100 spots in two buildings, with buyer attendance approaching 900 in the last few years. A well organized publicity campaign brings in buyers and sellers alike from throughout the Midwest. This year some groups came in from as far as Omaha and Kansas City to the west and Pennsylvania to the east. Vendors offer the unusual selection of extra parts as well as British car regalia, artwork, tools, literature and accessories. This event runs smoothly and gets high marks from buyers and sellers alike due to the careful organization and the strong contribution from club members who volunteer their time to help make it a smooth running event.
