Car Talk
Tom and Ray Magliozzi
1991 softbound 206 pages
You’ve seen their newspaper column and heard them on public radio, now you can read a collection of Click and Clack, AKA The Tappet Brothers selected works in paperback. They break down and explain the car’s major systems into easy to understand language. I especially liked the chapters on when to buy a new car and electrical systems, made more sense than the Lucas “smoke in the wires” theory. Very basic and a bit dated, but then so are our cars. Read it more for the humor than an education.
