An MG Thank You

I need to take this opportunity to give a big heart felt thank you to everyone who helped with the tech sessions on my car. For those who do not know the back ground, I was diagnosed with kidney cancer in January. The only hopeful news was a new oral medication was FDA approved in January so rather than doing normal chemotherapy. I started taking the oral meds in February. After some of the members learned of my condition. They offered to give my car a once over to be ready for the driving season. Two Saturday's were spent in February and third in March rebuilding the carbs as reported the April Driveline.

I go back 16 years with this club. With the club I have had the opportunity to travel to the 4 corners of the USA, and a couple of trips out of the USA, always with friends willing to share the trip. I have shared my life and shared the life of other members thru the years. And have found it very enjoyable to hear about others jobs, kids & car stories. As well as living some of the car stories being told. I have felt part of the inside group of this club and I will reveal the secret to being part of the inside group. I have had the opportunity to learn how to repair my car thru tech sessions and spring tune-ups. Spend hours with my wife and daughter doing rallies, even did a rally with my dog as my co-pilot. I have filled my need for speed doing auto-cross racing, tires squealing at every corner. I have done the crazy, try explaining to co-workers why you drove down to the rock on Thanksgiving day, with the top down in 13 degree weather. I have even done a couple of Amtrak road trips and raced around Lake Michigan in under 24 hours.

Now if you have not caught on to the secret. Participation! Come out for some events, join into the fun. The club offers many types of activities come out and be part of the fun. Dave and Carol Mullis
