Annual General Meeting
of the North American MGB Register
On October 28, the Chicagoland MG Club will host the Annual General Meeting of the North American MGB Register. The AGM is open to all members of the Register. This club was one of the earliest winners of the NAMGBR Chapter of the Year award, and we hope to have a large local turnout for the meeting. We also hope that many Chicagoland members will plan on socializing with our out-of-town guests before and after the meeting, and local members who would like to stay at the hotel are very welcome. We selected a hotel from those near the airport because of favorable rates, both for the rooms and for parking, and because the free hotel shuttle to the airport also gives us access to the CTA line for going downtown. We are currently planning activities, and your suggestions for Friday and Saturday evenings (Billy Goat Tavern, House of Blues, Buddy Guy’s etc.) and for a Chicago-style activity for Saturday morning are welcome.
