Member - 1973 MG RWA Midget
Completely rust free 1973 RWA Midget easy project. Every panel original, every factory weld can be seen. Drove to BCF in 2011, off road since - we were overseas. Strong engine, rebuilt gearbox, over $1500 in professionally rebuilt front suspension, with Centric calipers and Brembo rotors. Front end on dolly with 8" castors, can be flat-bedded. Member - 1977 MGB - British Racing Green. 66,000 miles with only two owners from new. Current owner since 1988. Tan interior with black carpets. Garage kept with no rust on the body. Original paint is in good condition with a few scratches and minor dents. Passenger door skin has a split in it by the quarter light window. Car was recommissioned in September 2014 with a new battery, top radiator hose, brake hoses and rear wheel cylinders. Four new Falken tires fitted in 2015. 4-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Overdrive is currently not working. Convertible top is good with clear rear window but has a couple of small tears. Car starts easily and runs well. Steering is light & positive. Non-member - 1979 MG Midget - Family owned for the past 30 years, mainly stored in a garage. 22,000 original miles. Original interior, and convertible top with no tears or rips anywhere! Original paint with some minor dings/wear and surface rust. Cigarette lighter insert is broken but lighter can still be used with a phone charger. Comes with original MG rain guard, radio, seats, dash, manual, etc. Engine was professionally replaced with a 1980 Spitfire engine. It is tuned up and runs well. The car is currently licensed as an antique vehicle and is located in Bloomington, Illinois. We are willing to meet potential buyers from Chicago part-way. $4500 or best offer. Non-member – 1977 MGB- 57,000 original miles. VIN# 428241. B-Series engine, four-speed no clutch issues. Good brakes and tires. Non-member – 1976 MGB - 1976 MGB Roadster with low miles and in rough shape; however the only part that is rusted through is the drivers floor board. Some surface rust but not much since it was rust-proofed by Zebart when bought new. No driven since 1999 at which time it ran very well. It had a new top put on it at that time. I had every intention to restore it but could never find the time nor had the money to do so. I would like to get $1,000.00 for it.
