Annual Business Meeting Minutes (continued)

Demands on my time prevented me from listing a lot of parts on eBay. eBay sales accounted for around 14 percent of sales.

Treasury report – Ralph Arata
The overall Balance Sheet looks solid. The club had a total income of $16,981.24 with expenses of $16,953.23 in 2010. Income from Membership Dues, Regalia Sales and Swap Meet revenue were $5,630.00, $675.05, and $6,913.00 respectively. Major expenses were Driveline newsletter, Postage, Swap meet expenses and miscellaneous club expenses.

Monthly Column of Driving Events


This month, my column is not very long. There is not much driving going on right now and the two most important things were already covered at the February Business Meeting. That were the 2010 Driving Awards and the Preliminary 2011 Calendar.

Hopefully the editor found enough space to publish the list for 2010 awards winners. Of course there were the Driver and Navigator of the traveling awards, the Moss Motors and Victoria British Trophies, but new this year was that Barney and Teresa Gaylord also received a small replica of the large cups as a permanent keepsake to their successful season. Also new this year were small cups for 2nd and 3rd place as well as 10 other recognitions.

The preliminary 2011 Driving Events Schedule is also out. If you don't find it in this issue of the Driveline, you can go www.chicagolandmgclub.com so that you can mark your calendars for your favorite events. Please note that we have a few new events this year. Bob's Farewell Tour on May 15, the weekend before our traditional season opener the Spring Chicken Tour, should give you an early opportunity for a shake-down run. Bob Hanselman will have a Run to Brighton, WI for the Model A Ford Club and both of the MG Clubs. Also new is the Lucas Memorial (before) Night Rally on July 25, were Dino and Lisa Perez are going to take us on a Garage Tour in the NW area with a home-before-dark-beer-garden finish in the
