The first Autocross event with the Miata Club is on Sunday May 26, 2013. For those who'll be competing in the first AutoX event the Miata club has asked us to remind everyone to be prepared to stay the entire day. When not driving the track, we serve as track marshals. There are typically 75 entrants split in three groups. While one group races, the other groups are either marshaling the track or are on free time. Make sure your car isn't leak-ing oil, and I advise bringing a bag lunch and refreshments.

We will be inspecting and rebuilding MG Midget and Austin Healey Sprite ribcage gearboxes The one currently in Raj's car leaks and rattles a bit, and Seth has an old one he is hoping to get some salvage parts from. If you are planning a rebuild or have experience to share, come join the fun.
