Spring Tune Up Party
Saturday, April 27, 2013,
4:00 - 8:00 PM
at Quality Tire & Auto
7255 Kingery Hwy - Willowbrook, IL

25 members got their MG out of hibernation, cleaned up, tuned up, oil changed, and get ready for the new driving season. The lifts - all four of them—were in use during the four hours allotted to the MG club.

A sign-up sheet was used to coordinate the use of the working stalls. Again thanks to Mark Leuck and couple of his staff for the use of his facilities. This is Mark’s 28th year of hosting this event!!!

Most cars received routing maintenance; only a couple required more attention. John Kearns car overheated prior to the event and it was diagnosed as a leaking heater valve and a defective radiator fan switch. The switch was by temporarily repaired with a household wall switch. Ralph Arata’s car sprung a leak from a faulty oil filter seal.

Members met for a post Tune-up party at a Roundhead’s Pizza.

Spring Brunch
Breakfast Buffet and Natter ‘n Noggin

Start this May Sunday morning with a short leisurely drive on scenic roads from Wilmette to Lake House in Lake Bluff for breakfast. A full breakfast buffet including hot & cold items, sweets table and a Mimosa Fountain is offered.

We will meet at 9:30 am and plan to leave at 10:00 am. We will start at Edens Plaza located at Lake Ave and Skokie Rd in Wilmette (just east of the Edens Expressway). Assemble at the northeast corner of Edens Plaza just east of Carsons.

The buffet cost is $15.00/person including tax & tip, coffee & pop. (Alcoholic beverages extra).
