books The Library Muse

This month I don’t have any a-muse-ing antidotes to share to share with you. No, that is not a typo. Let’s just say that after a self-induced case of alcohol poisoning sometimes a hair of the dog that bit you will not work. Sometimes you need the whole hide. I don’t have any anecdotes either, except to say that sometimes the only way to survive a holiday dinner with in-laws can be the above mentioned poisoning.

I am asking for a couple of favors. First, please return any library materials that have had out for than several months (or several years). Secondly I would still like to get a copy of Dr. Doolins MG Engine Rebuild. Any Ideas?

An MG is Born
Mark Evans, DVD, 2007, 230 minutes

“An MG is Born is a fascinating and detailed insight into the engineering, design and restoration of the world’s most popular and well-known sports cars; and is a fantastic reference tool for the existing or would-be MGB restorers.” I would agree. I watched the entire video in one sitting.

This was found by Jim Renkar. A British ‘telly’ series from Discovery of Europe. 10 episodes on 2 discs. A complete rebuild of a ‘barn find’ 1974 MGB, including body work, frame repair, and mechanicals.
