The driving season is here! After some beautiful days in the 80's, it is time to be prepared. Get the car ready, with a good tune up, oil change and wash, then get yourself ready by trying on your own MG attire and checking yourself out in the mirror.

Better yet, have your significant other check you out. The are plenty of women’s styles available. Check out the polo shirts with the CMGC logo. If you need replacements or an update, check out our Club store at fieldhouse.com/mg to see what is available. The store has regalia for the whole family. Check it out.

The Driving season is upon us. If you need a Club Grill Badge for your car, now is the time to get one.

We also have a few License plate frames available for only $14.

We have a fresh supply of hats and T shirts. The polo shirts are especially nice — even have a vest pocket.

books The Library Muse

At the April club meeting Jim Evans gave me a copy of The MGB Experience for the library, not a book, but a video tape in VHS format. This got the folks at my table talking. With the advent of DVDs and Blu-Ray, not too many of us have VHS anymore. We also have about 25 other VHS videos in the library collection. Here’s where I could use some help. Can anyone covert these tapes to DVD? I’m (my aching budget) too cheap to get this done commercially.

And while I’m asking for favors, if you have any library materials checked out would you please return them. If you can’t make it to a meeting or other event you can always mail them to me. Yes, the Post Office still is in business and they have a reduced rate for printed material. In the meantime I hope that your MG is out of its winter hibernation. I, never missing the opportunity to procrastinate, never got around to officially putting mine away for the winter so I’m set to go for the driving season already.
