Secrets of Jo Daviess Tour 2017
June 9-11, 2017

Back by popular demand, the Jo Daviess Tour is on the schedule for 2017. The fun starts Friday night with dinner. On Saturday, be ready for an amazing drive through the rolling hills of Jo Daviess County, hairpin turns into Potosi, Wisconsin and breathtaking views while cruising through Green County into Dodgeville. Dinner and the parking lot social time will wind up the first driving day of the tour. Sunday will include some new adventures and will end in the charming, popular town of Monroe, Wisconsin for some refreshments and farewells.

Hotel reservations are required. They do fill quickly. Below is the contact information for the hotels. Please be sure to tell them that you are with the Chicagoland MG Club. A block of rooms is on hold for the club until the cut-off dates listed.

31st Annual Scottish Festival & Highland Games June 16-17, 2017 Hamilton Lakes - Itasca, IL The CHICAGO SCOTS invite you to join them for the Midwest's largest Scottish event - Scottish Festival & Highland Games. The summer celebration, a beloved tradition for many families, offers the opportunity to experience Scotland's rich heritage and unique traditions along with some quirky customs. The festivities kick off on Friday, June 16 from 1:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. and continue Saturday, June 17 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. There will be a British Car Show on the grounds starting at 9:30 am until 6:00 pm on Saturday only. Registration fee is $20 for the car show and includes entry for two adults on Saturday as well. Prizes will be awarded.
