Chicagoland MG Club: Driveline July 2013

Hey folks, -- Here is an MGB owner in need, a bit of a human interest story, and within the charter of our club (preservation and enjoyment of MG cars).
Subject: 1967 MGB square Chrome Seatbelt Buckles with the MG Logo centered
Date: Tue, 25 Jun 2013 16:36:13
....
My 1967 MGB (my very 1st car) is now in the hands of my daughter Lara. She is looking for a pair of original factory Chrome Seatbelt Buckles with the MG Logo centered on the buckle.
I had a highway breakdown and when I retrieved the car the next day, someone had punched the MG logo from the passenger side buckle and unsuccessfully tried to do the same on the driver's side. They dented the buckle, but could not remove the logo. They also took the original radio knobs, as well as the heater knob.
She would sure appreciate any lead you might have regarding the buckles and / or belt & buckle for her Roadster. She has restored the car mechanically and is now working on the body. The interior is in great shape, seats / dash/ gages/. The trunk is solid and she has both the original aluminum bonnet  1967, as well as a steel 1968 steel bonnet.
Perhaps your connections across the country might turn up a pair of these original buckles / belts. I know there is an after market buckle with a bigger MG logo; however, they are not the factory original.  Any effort you can extend on her behalf is most appreciated. Thank you.
