Car Projects- Dave Bralich reported that he finished the single line braking system on his ’67 MGB and will convert to a dual system at a later date. He also replaced worn out parts on his clutch.
Some discussion about a wobble when driving between certain speeds thinking the spokes on wire wheels was the issue. It was suggested that wheel balancing is more likely the cause.
Past Events
Miata Autocross I & 2 - There were only a few MGs but enough that they had their own class. Everyone is encouraged to try an Autocross to have fun and improve driving skills.
AHC/CMGC Autocross was postponed due to weather.
Secrets of Jo Daviess County - It was a repeat of Dan Herman’s first tour with the shopping in Galena replaced by a stop at a distillery and the addition of a brewery before dinner. All had a good time.
July 4th Parade Dino Perez reported on the July 4th Parade and party in Riverside hosted by the Navarro family. All went well.

August 20th - Westmont Crusin’ Night, Bill Kalafut and Jean Hearsley
August 22nd - Club Garage Sale, Jim Evans
August 29th - Drive-in Movie, Dave ‘Cowboy’ Bralich & Dee Bralich
