Member - 1977 MGB
British Racing Green. 66,000 miles with only two owners from new. Current owner since 1988. Tan interior with black carpets. Garage kept with no rust on the body. Original paint is in good condition with a few scratches and minor dents. Passenger door skin has a split in it by the quarter light window. Car was recommissioned in September 2014 with a new battery, top radiator hose, brake hoses and rear wheel cylinders. Four new Falken tires fitted in 2015. 4-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Overdrive is currently not working. Convertible top is good with clear rear window but has a couple of small tears. Car starts easily and runs well. Steering is light & positive. Never restored just maintained very well. Yellow with black interior in excellent condition. 30,500 miles-it has been stored for the past 17 years and maintained by the book each year! No Rust. 1800cc with 4-speed and overdrive, dual SU carburetors and a polished stainless steel exhaust system. A custom wind deflector has been installed to reduce drafts in the cockpit. Can be left in place with the top up. Custom wood steering wheel, new carpets with a carpeted trunk, new tires, new battery and top and tonneau are in great condition. All electronics work. Non-member – 1976 MGB
1976 MGB Roadster with low miles and in rough shape; however the only part that is rusted through is the drivers floor board. Some surface rust but not much since it was rust-proofed by Zebart when bought new. No driven since 1999 at which time it ran very well. It had a new top put on it at that time. I had every intention to restore it but could never find the time nor had the money to do so. I would like to get $1,000.00 for it. White with black interior. 25th Anniversary edition, New seats, Electronic Ignition & fuel pump. Very recent tires. Mechanically in great shape with rebuilt front suspension, new water pump, starter motor, clutch and clutch slave cylinder etc. Body and paint are good but it has a few isolated rust patches, mostly non-visible.
