EDITOR’S CORNER
Nothing can get you more motivated to work on your car than to participate in a Tech Session.

I was at Wally Szempruch’s garage with a few other CMGC members to check out the progress on Walt’s beautifully restored 1975 MGB. He was looking for some assistance in tweaking up the engine and checking out for any missed defects. The session gave me inspiration as to what I could accomplish with a little dedication to the tasks at hand. I was pumped! I traveled home, looked in my garage and saw the beginnings of a beautiful transformation. My rusting engineless 1967 MGB stared at me – challenging me to get started. This will be the first day of a two-year project.

September is hosting one of the favorite tours – The Wine, Cheese & Beer Tour hosted by John & Ann Schroeder - and the British Car Union Festival. Check out these and all the upcoming events and activities. See you on the road...

In this month’s issue:
> Autocross update – see what you need to participate.
> Foxes? I don’t see no stinkin’ foxes…Maybe if you were on the Tally-Ho Rally?
> Tech sessions are in full swing – see the latest repairs made.
> What is August all about? Picnics and vacation trips of course!
> Check out the 1,000 mile road trip made by a few of our members.
