2015 Wine, Cheese & Beer Tour

A POEM
I’m not much for beer…..affects my mind,
But I will eat the cheese and drink the wine!
The Tour’s - September 19th is the day,
I really like the wine part….did I say?
This year’s Tour has new MCs,
Russ and Ralph like the cheese.
Day 1 is a Friday and there is no cheese,
Because we’re in Rockford … eating Japanese.
After dinner we gather for a time,
No cheese yet, but there is beer and wine!!
Saturday we tour, a rolling car show,
And Old Wisconsin is where we go.
A laid back time, a day in the sun,
However that night is when we really have fun!
Ah yes, the patio, an MG car,
Beer and wine and of course a cigar!
The cars and the driving do fill the day,
But it’s the social hour at night that’s really OK!
You’re with friends and family…perhaps your main squeeze,
Damn, I like this wine and cheese.
Sunday we tour Wisconsin, a day so fine,
I could use a little more wine.
MGs in a line, follow Russ our guide,
Travelling the Wisconsin countryside.
The care, the road, the people oh gee,
It’s not bad at WBCT!!

Mark your calendar for the 11th annual WCB Tour! With help from Ralph Arata (and Susan), we are planning the WCB Tour to be held September 18-19-20 this year. Ann and John Schroeder have done such an excellent job in the past that we can only hope to come close meeting their example. We begin Friday evening (Sept 18) in Rockford for dinner at JMK Nippon restaurant. As you may know the preparation ‘show’ is second only to the food and camaraderie. Socializing will continue at the hotel parking lot.
