This postcard is from the Oakwood Inn on Holland on Sea in England. The MG TD has license plate LYS 579. The card is post-marked in August of 1969. The picture seems older, based on the cars on the parking of the inn. Although is impossible to see the brand and model of the car to the right of the TD, the diameter and width of its tyres (tires) and the shape of the wing (fender) suggest that it is probably older (but not a TC).
It is also interesting to see how little some things change in the UK. If you look up the inn in Google maps and go to “street view”, you’ll notice that the place is not only still around, it also looks very much the same as it did almost 50 years ago.
