5th Annual Westmont Cruisin' Nights
& Street Fair

The evening of Thursday 15th August was pleasantly warm in Westmont as many members from our two Clubs staged "a British invasion" via a flanking maneuver from a side street onto north Cass Avenue before claiming parking spaces in front of Bill Kalafut & Jean Heasley' real estate and contracting office that served as MG Central.

This was the sixth time we have participated in this cruise night and street fest, and we received special billing in the trifold brochure that touts this event as "The best weekly car show in the Chicagoland area" (WGN radio) and that was given to all attendees. Music, food, raffles, and cars (including our MGs) were featured along a half mile stretch of the main drag in this suburb.
