EDITOR’S CORNER
Like many of us, we store our cars in a safe environment for the winter. In past years I’ve tried different actions – some more successful than others. A few years ago I tried to just cover the car in a tarp and left out in the cold. It turned out to be a miserable winter – heavy snow, lots of frigid days below the freezing mark – and my car didn’t fare too well. It was rough going the first few driving months before I got all the ‘bugs’ out. Last year was the best situation. I kept my car in a relative’s fairly warm attached garage with the battery on trickle-charge. My only ‘expense’ was to shovel the sidewalk when needed. In the spring, the car started easily and there were few problems. This year I don’t have that option. I gaze at my two-car garage (that has never seen a car parked) now loaded with accumulated ‘stuff’ I moved from my basement in order to complete the room buildout. The buildout went well – the stuff in the garage is still there. Now that it is getting nippy, I guess I need to seriously look at the garage stuff to move out making room for the MG.

In this month’s issue:
> Electric/Hydraulic lifts in your garage make hard tasks easy – Check out the Fall Tune-Down Chili Party.
> The Holiday spirit was in full swing at Dave’s Auto Clinic where oil changes and car inspections were performed for PADS participants.
> It is time for annual dues to be collected. Please send in your $25 before January.
> Election ballots are enclosed – please use these for voting only and not stuff your dues payment inside.
