On December 3rd, the Vintage MG Car Club & Chicagoland MG Club held their annual Christmas Party celebration at the Wheatstack Restaurant in Lisle Illinois.

All reservations were filled by Nov 7th which helped us greatly this year to optimize for member a care-free and pleasant experience.

Feedback indicates that everyone enjoyed themselves on December 3rd!! The party started at 600PM with cocktails attended by four Wheatstack servers. There was a slide show featuring all the driving events in 2016 from the 2015 Christmas Party on!

There was a moment of silence and a toast for Oscar Gonzales and long time member and supporter of the club who had recently passed away.

The members began the evening with the traditional cocktail hour and comradery. Our Master of Ceremonies, Vic L'Heureux, announced dinner at 700PM. Food was served family style featuring both lemon chicken and prime rib of beef. Service was quick and came in good portions.

There was a Christmas skit "The Lucas Zone" featuring Santa, his trusty elf Jonathan and of course Rudolf!!

After the skit came the club awards for driving events in 2016 emceed by our Driving Events Coordinator, Reinout Vogt. There were many awards given to both Vintage & Chicagoland members.

Wheatstack has been a good fit for the clubs in both decor, service and price but we are always open to suggestions. Please feel free to comment to either Rick Rausch or Ralph Arata.
