Here we have a list of Car Shows generally within driving distance of the Chicago area, and sometimes shows and car meets that may be of national interest to MG enthusiasts. This also includes a few driving rallies, social events and British car racing events.
Double K Productions promotes CAR & BIKE SHOWS on weekends, several times per month throughout the summer. Print show fliers from their web site. They also sponsor CRUISE THE HOT SPOTS cruise nights every night of the week through the summer in various western suburbs (see Cruise Nights below).

We are going west this year to the NAMGBR convention! MG 2009 is in Breckenridge, CO. The convention dates are June 24 – 28. It is time to start planning your trip. Four couples have booked their hotels all ready. Our tentative departure date is June 21 and return around July 1. We will be caravanning again this year and we would like to have you join us.
The event web site is www.mg2009.com. The registration form is there to download. You do not have to be NAMGBR members to participate so all MG’s are welcome. Early registration ends on April 15th. You can register after that at an additional charge.

2nd annual Brit Car Show with 6th annual EAA Air Show, Oskosh WI
 Saturday, August 1st will be our 2nd annual Brit Car Show to go along with our 6th annual EAA Air Show. We should meet at our local British Car Clubhouse at County E and Sand Pit Road, Oshkosh, WI or at the Planeview Truck Stop at HWY 26 and 41, Oshkosh at 1:00 and go to the show from there. http://www.airventure.org
Once again, my brother and I will supply the beer, soda and BBQ. Just bring a dish to pass, a lawnchair, a camera, sunscreen, a hat and ear protection. We will be on the east flightline and directly below the return path for the show.
Those who were here last year will tell you that this was a very good place to watch the show and a good time.
