Cruising through the hills around Starved Rock State Park on IL-71.

Friday morning caravan formation at US-34 and IL-47 in Yorkville, IL.
We're okay. The cop was just peddaling car show handbills.

First part of the trip was just a little misty. No rain, but some of the roads were wet before we got there.
Skinny tires, damp asphault and winding hills were a bit of a challenge for the 1932 MG J2.

Ten cars and 18 people for lunch at the Ranch House in Bureau Junction.

The trip home on Sunday was no less exciting for the J2. Down hill grades, tight turns and
concrete retaining walls can be a little intimidating with cable operated mechanical brakes.
A successful trip for the car, but not so great for the butterflies.
