Since 1997 the CMGC swap meet has been held on the last Sunday in February at the DuPage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton, Illinois. Both the content and the gate admission has been increasing yearly (with the exception of one very bad snow storm in 2007). For 2011 we had about 800 shoppers and more than 100 vendor spaces in two buildings.
To get to the swap meet, start at Roosevelt Road (IL-38) and either IL-59 or IL-53. From IL-59 go east on IL-38, 2.9 miles to County Farm Road. Or from IL-53 go west on IL-38, 4.8 miles to County Farm Road. This intersection has a traffic light and McDonalds and Burger King restaraunts. Go north on County Farm Road 0.4 miles to the first traffic light. Turn east on Manchester Road and proceed 0.5 miles to the entrance. -- Click for map
This meet is intended for all marques of British cars. This is not a car show. Our goal is to provide a meeting place for buyers and sellers of used parts, new parts, accessory items, tools, memorabilia, and just about anything else of interest to the British car enthusiast.
Our 17th meet promises to be the best yet! It has become a regional event!
The site is an indoor heated facility that is centrally located in the Chicago area. Last year over 800 buyers attended, and the vendor spaces were sold out. This event has had strong support from all of the British car clubs in the Chicago area, and this year looks to be bigger than ever before. Additionally, another major (but non-competitive) event of interest to automotive hobbists is being held simultaneously in the same complex.
The British Car Swap Meet & Autojumble is advertised in all major enthusiast publications as well as many daily newspapers of all major cities surrounding Chicago in a multistate campaign; many out of state buyers and vendors attend this event each year.
Fees and Ticket Prices:
Gate Admission tickets will be $5. Kids 12 and under (accompanied by an adult) are still free. As always, parking is free. Nearby lodging is available for out of town visitors. If you need additional information you may contact:

Vendor spaces will be $30 per space (10x10 feet), tables are $5 each, chairs are $1 each (sorry, no tail gate selling allowed). Vendor spaces may be filled by early to mid February, so early registration is highly recommended.
