The 2018 Autocross season started out very wet! So wet in fact that all of my fellow MGer’s canceled out. Rain delayed the start of racing and also gave the timing gear fits for a while.

But those of us that stuck it out got in 14 runs. I shaved about 5 second from my initial time which made me the fastest MG. The fact I was the ONLY MG doesn’t count. I was still the slowest car out there. But I had fun once the rain stopped. And it got Hot and muggy!

To those that didn’t make it out because of the rain. You missed out! To those that may want to come join me next time our next Autocross is July 14th. Registration will open 2 weeks before. See last month’s Driveline for info on registering.

Please come out and join us. If you don’t want to drive you can still join us and cheer for those who are running. Also I would really like someone to take pictures of the MGs while they are on the course. It makes the articles more interesting for the Driveline and those of us that are participating can only take pictures during our “Rest” period. So we miss those that are driving while we are working the course. I NEED A PHOTOGRAPHER! PLEASE!
