EDITOR’S CORNER
It doesn’t matter how many times you work on your car, you still can learn something new. I have attended a couple of Tech Sessions this past month that made me aware of how much I don’t know about our cars. Removing the engines of both Geoff Morris and Sue Stealey represented different problems (opportunities?) to address. Hidden defects turn up that need to be resolved before the overall goal can be completed. Cracked brackets, damaged internal components, frayed cables - all take time to resolve - making a seemingly easy repair a little more challenging. Next month we will try to identify potential problems in order to plan corrective actions for a car newly acquired by Walter Szempruch. Stop by for this tech session and maybe you too will learn something new.

August is setting up to be a busy month. Check out the coming events and activities. See you on the road...

In this month’s issue:
> Autocross update – see what you need to participate.
> Tech sessions are in full swing – see the latest repairs made.
> What is July all about? Parades, vintage cars & picnics of course!
> We have ‘MG museums’ in our backyard – check out the Garage Tour II. Pg. 11
> Check out the 4,800 mile road trip made by a few of our members.
> Camping is still king for some of our members. Pg. 13
> LSD was still the place to be on a Sunday morning. Check out the action.
