SPRING TOUR 2017

OSHKOSH, WI
We will visit the EAA Aviation Museum, The Paine Art Center, and a robotic dairy farm. Friday dinner will be at The Roxy, a supper club for a fish fry, Saturday lunch could be at Ardy and Ed’s Drive In, with car hops, and dinner will be at Fox River Brewing Company, a micro-brewery with great food and a view of the river.
There is a chance we will hook-up with the Fox Cities British Car Club and visit their very special Clubhouse.

Did you make your room reservation? A block of rooms for the two nights had been reserved at the AmericInn. 920-232-0300. You are responsible for your own reservations. Although the block of rooms have been released, there were still a few available. There is a 24-hour cancellation for all resurvations.

CARAVAN INFORMATION for Friday May 19
There will be two rendezvous locations. The first is the Lake Forest Oasis, north bound on I-94. We will be leaving there at 9:00 am. We will exit at the first opportunity onto IL-176. Heading west, the second rendezvous will be at the intersection of IL-176 and US-45. The Omega Restaurant is on the NE corner (10 E Maple Ave, Mundelein). We will leave there at 9:15.

General directions will be provided at the rendezvous points. It is a 150-mile drive on secondary roads. There will be a couple of pit stops and a lunch break.

Please let me know if you will be caravanning and which location you will be at. I NEED THIS INFORMATION SO THAT YOU WILL NOT BE LEFT BEHIND. How many will be in your party? I must give the lunch restaurant a head count.

Land’s End Rally
June 4, 2017

We'll be starting at 9:00 am with driver's meeting and the first driver departing at 9:30am. The route is still being revised but I'm trying to keep it under 100 miles. The starting point will be at Starbucks in Burr Ridge 515 Village Center Dr. Burr Ridge, IL 60527. Come early to chat and grab a drink & a bit to eat. Questions should be interesting.

Remember this is my first rally and our rally master Reinout said I could do whatever I wanted!

I'll apologize in advance. Our final destination will be at Del Rays Chicken Basket, 645 Joliet Rd, Willowbrook, IL. It will be a CASH only venue. So come on out and see how the boys in the southern burgs drive.
