Free Car Care Safety Clinic for Seniors

The Naperville and Lisle Townships TRIAD, in conjunction with the DuPage County Sherif's Office, the Lisle Police Department, the Village of Lisle Fleet services, Lisle High School, and vinatge/antique automobile owners providing comprehensive auto inspections for seniors. This free service is provided to help ensure vehicles are safe for senior drivers.

A few CMGC members were in attendance. Two Midget gearboxes were disassembled, one was reasembled. There were a couple of snags, so it was not quite completed in one day. Several days later the unit was "debugged" and finally buttoned up. Not yet reinstalled at last report.

Steve Skegg is helping Geoff Morris strip the engine, gearbox, and everything else useful from a donor MG-B, in an effort to save Geoff's beloved B! It's fun tearing things apart without worrying about putting it back together. Please stop by if you want to get your hands dirty or want to watch others people get their hands dirty!

Fall Tune-Down and Chili Party

Dave Bralich will again be hosting a Fall Tune-down in his garage to assist in this effort. Dave has a low lift drive-over hoist so we can do underbody inspection, maybe a few oil changes, and some tune-up work or minor repairs. Bring your own parts, oil and a jug for oil disposal (and yes, you take away your own away).
