Thirty Years of CMGC Newsletters

Barney Gaylord Greetings fellow MG Enthusiasts,

After hundreds of hours of scanning and posting I have recently completed upload to the web site of all available historical issues of our club newsletter from inception of the club. What were you doing on October 28, 1976?

This is a nice historical archive of interesting activities this club has been involved in for the past 30 years, as well as a rich source of MG technical information, history of the marque, and the occasional bit of humor. It chronicles MG Nights at Comiskey Park with Miss MG, making of The Blues Brothers movie with several of our members, MGs and AMGBA at New York and Detroit and Chicago Auto shows, and our hosting of national and regional AMGBA meets. A long series of articles and photos chronicles MG car production at the M.G. Car Company factory in Abingdon, England, as well as trials an tribulations and the final closing of the factory. What were you doing at 3:30 PM (English time) on Wednesday, October 22, 1980, when the last MGB rolled off the assembly line?
